"What a grand and intoxicating innocence." - Dagoth Ur

Needless to say, this is a character journal that I started just for fun for my Morrowind role playing character. Aeronwen is a Bosmer (aka Wood Elf). The illigetimate daughter of the king, (the "Royal Chargen" mod), Aeronwen has been raised in the luxury of the castle, away from prying eyes and her paternity was kept a secret. After attempting to steal her grandfather's ornate ceremonial dagger, the Dagger of Symmachus, she was disowned, stripped of her royal title and sent to Morrowind with nothing more than the clothes on her back.

The character of Aeronwen has been around for a LONG time. Long before I even thought of keeping a blog for her she has completed the traditional Morrowind main quest three times. Every single time when she got to the point of speaking with Dagoth Ur, I felt like she felt a "pull" toward him. She hated having to kill him and always walked away feeling as though her life had taken a wrong turn...that she should have met up with him earlier.

So, when I restarted my game for the fourth (or is it the fifth?) time, I decided, "What the hell. I want to explore this attraction for Voryn that Aeronwen always ends up feeling. I was able to do this with the Great House Dagoth mod, which gives the player character a choice that should have been in the Morrowind game all along; do you side with Dagoth Ur or with the Empire and the Tribunal?

Comments are permitted and welcome.

Note to anyone who is into RPGs and might have an interest in purchasing Morrowind; the game does NOT look like the screenshots that I have posted right out of the box. The storyline "as is" is also quite different and there are no pets or companions. The nice thing about the PC version of Morrowind is that you can mod the hell of it and make the world your own.
